Our wedding season was kicked off with Emily & Kyle on April 14th — and it was a great way to start the year! When we arrived at Emily’s Aunt’s house that morning, it was typical Alberta spring weather: it was snowing! No matter though, Emily & Kyle had no complaints :)
Emily’s dress (from Ethos) was just gorgeous — I love the beaded floral bits around her waist! Her lovely veil was borrowed from her sister. AND THOSE SHOES!!! Omg.
This is St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish in McKenzie Town. It’s so big & lovely & full of sunlight!!
After the ceremony, we headed over to My Favourite Ice Cream Shoppe, who we LOVE for letting us take shelter and enjoy some delicious ice cream :)
I love these quieter moments :)
Then we headed downtown. Mike loves the movement in this one:
This is The Italian Club. It’s big & beautiful, and has the friendliest staff! Those pretty feather centerpieces were amazing.
And then they danced :)
The guys headed across the street (to the car wash, lol) to have a celebratory cigar.
Thanks so much, Emily & Kyle, for including us in your amazing day! We felt just like family :)
